On average, 507 children are transferred each day from Customs and Border Patrol (CPB) facilities to sponsors, up from 276 in February.  In total, there were roughly 172,000 migrant encounters during the month of March – the highest for a single month in 15 years and a 71% increase from the previous month. With Weed Legalized, NYPD Not Allowed To Approach Smokers

Police officers in New York this week received a notice instructing them not to stop or approach people who are smoking marijuana in public. The memo was sent two days after Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) signed a bill to legalize recreational use for residents 21 and older. Smoking weed in public places, including sidewalks and front porches, “is not a basis for an approach, stop, summons, arrest, or search,” reads the memo. The smell of marijuana “no longer establishes probable cause of a crime to search a vehicle,” though police…

Another Severe Sandstorm Devastates Beijing

Residents of Beijing awoke Sunday morning to a sun made blue by a fierce sandstorm that blanketed the city in dust. The storm – which comes just 2 weeks after the most severe sandstorm the region has seen in 10 years – brought high levels of dangerous particles into the city and reduced visibility to just 3,300 feet. Flights were postponed and residents were told to remain indoors. Meteorologists say the dust was blown into northeast China from drought-stricken Mongolia and have warned residents to expect more storms during the…

Democrats Claim Election Fraud in Iowa

If there’s one thing we can expect from the Democratic Party, it’s hypocrisy. In the latest example, House Democrats are questioning the results of a GOP-won election in Iowa. The official tally shows Marianette Miller-Meeks (R) defeating Rita Hart (D) by a margin of 6 votes. But Hart claims at least 22 ballots did not get counted. “Contestant Hart initiated this contested election case to vindicate the promise of our democratic system: that the representatives who serve us have been selected by the votes of their constituents, not the errors…

BioNTech Moves Forward with Cancer Vaccine

Following its successful COVID vaccine developed in partnership with Pfizer, German company BioNTech is on track to manufacture a vaccine for cancer. “We have several different cancer vaccines based on mRNA,” said Özlem Türeci, who co-founded BioNTech with her husband Uğur Şahin in 2008. Messenger RNA or “mRNA” was used in the COVID vaccines to help the human immune system identify and prepare to defend against the coronavirus. In theory, the same approach could be used against a cancerous tumor. Türeci and Şahin were already working on a cancer vaccine…

Has Biden Created the Worst Border Crisis Ever?

The US-Mexico border is overrun with migrants seeking to enter the country now that Joe Biden is president. “The Biden Admin. has created a disaster on the border,” tweeted Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R). “Record 3,200 migrant children stuck in Border Patrol custody + many who are not children. The federal government must fix this immediately.” Without adequate housing, border patrol officials have been forced to hold unaccompanied minors in cells meant for adults. Up to 90% of them don’t have beds to sleep in (imagine what the Dems would…

Joe Biden Reveals His Covid-19 Plan

Joe Biden And Jill Biden

The Biden Administration has a “theme” for each day of January. Thursday’s focus was Covid-19 response. As outlined in the national strategy released this week, the Biden Administration will utilize the Defense Production Act (DPA) to boost the manufacturing of gloves, masks, swabs, syringes, and other items necessary for COVID testing and vaccine distribution.
