Another Severe Sandstorm Devastates Beijing

Residents of Beijing awoke Sunday morning to a sun made blue by a fierce sandstorm that blanketed the city in dust. The storm – which comes just 2 weeks after the most severe sandstorm the region has seen in 10 years – brought high levels of dangerous particles into the city and reduced visibility to just 3,300 feet. Flights were postponed and residents were told to remain indoors. Meteorologists say the dust was blown into northeast China from drought-stricken Mongolia and have warned residents to expect more storms during the…

Dr. Peter Hotez Weaponizes Medicine

Part of my job is to follow the news across the wide philosophic divide.  That connects me with a legion of personalities – anchors, analysts, reporters, contributors and panelists.  Some provide information. But for the most part, they come to the Fourth Estate with a partisan political bias – some more strident than others.  That also includes the so-called medical and scientific professionals. We are often advised to follow the science and listen to the scientists.  But they seem to have as diverse opinions as the politicians.  In fact, they…

Who Really Killed JFK?

Nearly 60 years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Jr., debate about who actually was responsible for the assassination continues to rage. Adding fuel to the fire is a recent new book claiming that the Soviet Union ordered Lee Harvey Oswald to assassinate Kennedy. The book wouldn’t necessarily make waves with that allegation, except that one of its co-authors is former CIA Director James Woolsey. That alone makes the book a must-read for those interested in what really happened on that fateful day in Dallas in 1963. In…

The Banned Congressional Candidate

A congressional candidate for Florida’s 21st district stood out amongst the crop of 2020 challengers looking to unseat an incumbent, in that the woman in question has been deemed unsuitable to see or hear by many of our favorite names in media. Surprisingly, Laura Loomer, 27, of Delray Beach Florida, has experienced an incredible number of bans over the past few years. According to Mrs. Loomer’s campaign page, the “Jewish Conservative investigative journalist and activist” is banned from “Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Uber, Lyft, Uber Eats, PayPal, Venmo, GoFundMe, Medium, TeeSpring,…

Ted Cruz Visits Border, Captures Video of Cartels “Taunting” Border Patrol

Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) shared video from the southern border that shows individuals with flashlights on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande river yelling at Americans on the other side. Cruz claims these were drug cartel members and human smugglers taunting Border Patrol agents. Cruz, along with Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas), led a Senate delegation to the U.S.-Mexico border this week to observe how federal law enforcement is handling the migrant crisis. “We encountered human traffickers & cartel members tonight, yelling at us across the Rio Grande and preparing…

Democrats Claim Election Fraud in Iowa

If there’s one thing we can expect from the Democratic Party, it’s hypocrisy. In the latest example, House Democrats are questioning the results of a GOP-won election in Iowa. The official tally shows Marianette Miller-Meeks (R) defeating Rita Hart (D) by a margin of 6 votes. But Hart claims at least 22 ballots did not get counted. “Contestant Hart initiated this contested election case to vindicate the promise of our democratic system: that the representatives who serve us have been selected by the votes of their constituents, not the errors…

Is Biden Abusing Kids to Appease the Left?

Migrants Waiting Outside Fence At Border

President Biden used his first day in office to ceremoniously cancel virtually all of President Trump’s immigration policies – even cancelling the paid-for and partially constructed border wall. The harshest criticism of the Trump administration was its allegedly mistreatment of kids – and families with kids.  There was the issue of family separation.  Even at the end of the Trump administration, Democrats and the media were pouncing on Trump for the hundreds of children who were not yet re-united with their families. It was a dishonest criticism.  It was said…

Why Saudi Arabia Called for Ceasefire in Yemen

Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Monday called for a ceasefire to end the civil war in Yemen and reopen a major airport in the nation’s capital city, Sana’a. “The initiative aims to end the human suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people, and affirms the Kingdom’s support for efforts to reach a comprehensive political resolution,” said the diplomat. “It is up to the Houthis now…The Houthis must decide whether to put their interests first or Iran’s interests first.” Saudi Arabia has been involved in the war since…

Baizou Movement vs. Woke Tankies

If you have no idea what the headline means, you are either over 50-years-old or not into the online social platforms – or both.  More simply, it is another version of the right versus the left – especially in terms of the social culture.  It is that eternal conflict between those committed to maximum personal freedom versus those who see the need for an elitist authority to control the social mores and folkways of we the people. The terms do have some history and nuances that may fine tune their…

BioNTech Moves Forward with Cancer Vaccine

Following its successful COVID vaccine developed in partnership with Pfizer, German company BioNTech is on track to manufacture a vaccine for cancer. “We have several different cancer vaccines based on mRNA,” said Özlem Türeci, who co-founded BioNTech with her husband Uğur Şahin in 2008. Messenger RNA or “mRNA” was used in the COVID vaccines to help the human immune system identify and prepare to defend against the coronavirus. In theory, the same approach could be used against a cancerous tumor. Türeci and Şahin were already working on a cancer vaccine…
