On Tuesday, July 12, a military jury acquitted a decorated Navy SEAL of premeditated murder Tuesday in the killing of a wounded Islamic State captive under his care in Iraq in 2017. Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher was cleared of all charges except for posing for photos with the dead body of the captive. Two-thirds of U.S. voters want the government to include a question about an individual’s citizenship status on the 2020 census, a new survey has revealed. Harvard CAPS/Harris released a poll on Tuesday which revealed that 67 percent of voters reported that the question, “Is this person a citizen of the United States?” should be included on the 2020 census.
